Terms & Conditions

Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of Easy Compliance Tools.

By using this website, creating an account, completing an assessment, purchasing a report, or downloading a generated document, you agree to these terms.

The service

Easy Compliance Tools provides online guided tools that help users create structured compliance documents, records, assessments and calculation reports based on information supplied by the user.

The tools are designed for simple, lower-risk situations where self-assessment or a calculation record may be appropriate.

The service does not provide professional advice, site inspections, testing, sampling, certification by a competent person, statutory approval, legal advice, or independent verification that the information entered is correct.

Accounts

You may be required to create an account to use certain features.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out under your account.

You must not allow another person to use your account to create documents unless you are authorised to do so. You are responsible for all information submitted through your account.

Use of the tools

The tools generate documents based entirely on the information you provide.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information entered is accurate, complete and suitable for your property, premises, project or site.

You are responsible for deciding whether a tool is appropriate for your situation and whether professional advice, inspection, testing, sampling or a competent assessor is required.

Generated documents are only as accurate as the information you provide.

Legal operator

Easy Compliance Tools is a trading name of Kabaddle LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms, “Easy Compliance Tools”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kabaddle LTD trading as Easy Compliance Tools.

Company number: 12956148

User responsibility

By using this website, you accept responsibility for:

  • Determining whether a tool is appropriate for your situation
  • Providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information
  • Checking the generated document before relying on it
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, duties, guidance and third-party requirements
  • Seeking professional advice, inspection, testing, sampling or competent assessment where required
  • Keeping appropriate records and completing any actions identified in a generated document

Product-specific limitations

Fire Risk Assessment

The Fire Risk Assessment tool is a guided self-assessment document generator. It is intended only for simple, low-risk premises where the user is competent to provide the required information.

It is not a physical inspection, third-party fire risk assessment, fire engineering review, external wall assessment, smoke-control assessment, building safety case, or certification of legal compliance.

The responsible person remains legally responsible for the adequacy of the assessment, the accuracy of the answers, and completion of any actions identified. Complex, higher-risk or specialist premises may require assessment by a competent fire risk assessor.

Legionella Risk Assessment

The Legionella Risk Assessment tool is a guided assessment document generator for simple water systems. It is based on user-provided answers and does not include a site visit, water sampling, laboratory testing, temperature verification, inspection of tanks, pipework or outlets, or professional water-hygiene consultancy.

A generated report does not prove that Legionella bacteria are absent and does not guarantee that a water system is safe or compliant. Dutyholders remain responsible for assessing and managing risk, keeping records and seeking competent advice where required.

Part G Water Efficiency Calculator

The Water Efficiency Calculator / Certificate produces a Part G water-consumption calculation based on submitted fixture, fitting and water-system specifications.

It does not verify installed products, inspect the property, confirm manufacturer data, or provide Building Control approval. Building Control bodies, warranty providers, designers, developers or other third parties may have their own requirements.

Part G wording is intended for England and Wales only. Users are responsible for selecting the correct target, including 125 litres/person/day or 110 litres/person/day where the optional tighter target is imposed.

Other tools

Other compliance tools follow the same principle: documents are generated from user-provided information and do not replace professional advice, inspection, testing or statutory approval where required.

Not legal or professional advice

Information on this website and within generated documents is general guidance only.

It is not legal advice, professional safety advice, professional compliance advice, engineering advice, water-hygiene consultancy, fire-safety consultancy, or Building Control approval.

If you are unsure whether a tool is suitable, or if your property, premises, project or site is complex, higher-risk or subject to specific requirements, you should seek advice from a suitably competent professional.

Supporting evidence and records

Where a tool allows or asks for supporting evidence, photographs, inspection dates, service records or certificates, you are responsible for ensuring those records are genuine, accurate and retained.

Easy Compliance Tools does not verify uploaded evidence unless expressly stated.

Payments

Some tools are available for a one-off fee. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout.

By making a purchase, you agree to pay the stated price at the time of purchase.

Digital products, cancellation and refunds

Reports, certificates and generated documents are digital products created using the information you provide.

Before purchase, you may be asked to confirm that you want the digital product to be generated and made available immediately.

By confirming this, you acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once generation, access or download begins, except where required by law.

Because generated documents are tailored to your input and made available immediately, refunds are not normally provided once a document has been generated, accessed or downloaded, unless required by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital product is not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for a purpose expressly agreed with us.

Third-party acceptance

We cannot guarantee that any third party, including a managing agent, insurer, landlord, contractor, employer, client, Building Control body, enforcing authority, regulator, fire authority, HSE-related dutyholder, or warranty provider, will accept a generated document.

Acceptance may depend on the premises, project, local requirements, the accuracy of the information supplied, supporting evidence, and the third party’s own policies.

We are not responsible for rejection of a document by a third party unless the rejection is caused by our failure to provide the digital product substantially as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to create misleading, fraudulent, unlawful or knowingly inaccurate documents.

You must not misrepresent that a property, premises, system or project has been inspected, approved or certified by Easy Compliance Tools or any third party where it has not.

You must not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or misuse the website, tool logic, templates or generated report formats.

Intellectual property

The website, tool logic, templates, branding, report layouts and generated document formats are owned by or licensed to EasyComplianceTools.

When you purchase a generated document, you receive a licence to use, download, print and share that document for the property, premises, project or site for which it was generated.

You must not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, reproduce or adapt the templates, tool logic or branded report formats for competing commercial use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyComplianceTools will not be liable for indirect, consequential or business losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contracts, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, increased costs, regulatory consequences, insurer decisions, third-party rejection, enforcement action, or losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable user input.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We are not responsible for delays or unavailability caused by hosting providers, payment providers, maintenance, security issues, internet failures, or events outside our reasonable control.

Changes to the service

We may update, modify, suspend or remove parts of the service at any time.

We may update tools, questions, scoring, calculation methods, templates and wording to reflect product improvements, legal or guidance changes, or operational requirements.

Independence

Easy Compliance Tools is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any government body, regulator, fire and rescue authority, HSE body, Building Control body, insurer or warranty provider.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
